ABA Services in Boston, MA
Individualized, Evidence-Based ABA Services for Boston Schools and Families
City Point Behavioral Consulting provides personalized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children and families throughout Boston and Greater Boston.
Based in South Boston, our team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and experienced Behavior Therapists (BTs) works closely with schools, children, and caregivers to build meaningful skills, encourage greater independence, and support positive progress in everyday life.
Our ABA services are designed around each child—not a one-size-fits-all program. Through individualized assessment, data-driven treatment, caregiver collaboration, and therapy delivered in the child's natural environment, we help families work toward goals that matter in daily life.
What is ABA Therapy?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based approach that uses the principles of learning and behavior to help children develop meaningful skills and increase independence.
ABA therapy is highly individualized. At City Point Behavioral Consulting, treatment begins by understanding each child's strengths, needs, environment, and family priorities. From there, our BCBAs develop measurable goals and use ongoing data to evaluate progress and adjust treatment as needed.
Depending on a child's individual needs, ABA therapy may support areas such as:
Communication and language
Social interaction and play
Daily living and self-help skills
Independence and routines
Emotional regulation
Learning readiness
Reduction of challenging behaviors
Generalizing skills across home, school, and community settings
Our goal is not simply to teach skills during therapy sessions. We want children and families to be able to use those skills where they matter most—in everyday life.
School Consultation in Greater Boston
At City Point Behavioral Consulting (CPBC), we collaborate with public and private schools across Greater Boston to design and implement evidence-based behavioral programs that help students thrive.
Services include conducting and interpreting results from behavior assessments (FBA, VB-Mapp, etc.), collaborating with other related service providers in the school, writing behavior support plans, and providing input and recommendations during IEP meetings.
Our team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Behavior Therapists (BTs) works alongside educators, administrators, and support staff to promote positive behavior, reduce classroom disruptions, and build sustainable systems of support within your school community.
In-Home ABA Services in Boston
Children learn many of their most important skills within their natural environments. That's why City Point provides individualized ABA therapy in the home, where our team can work on real-life routines, challenges, and family priorities as they occur.
In-home ABA therapy may allow children to practice communication, play, self-care, transitions, family routines, and independence in the setting where those skills are used every day.
It also gives parents and caregivers opportunities to collaborate directly with the treatment team, observe strategies in action, ask questions, and develop tools they can use between therapy sessions.
Every treatment plan is individualized based on clinical assessment and the needs of the child and family.
Individualized
Every child has different strengths, challenges, interests, and goals. Treatment plans are developed around the individual child rather than a standardized program.
Compassionate
Children deserve services built around dignity, respect, encouragement, and meaningful quality-of-life improvements.
Data-Driven
Our BCBAs use ongoing data to measure progress, evaluate interventions, and make informed adjustments to treatment.
Family-Centered
Parents and caregivers are important members of the treatment team. We work collaboratively with families to identify meaningful goals and support progress beyond scheduled therapy sessions.
Collaborative
When appropriate and with the family's involvement, City Point can collaborate with educators and other professionals supporting the child to encourage consistency across environments.
